      In the wake of the tsunami that devastated Thailand, Builders of the Future participated in a program providing 12 - 18 months of education for children in 10 schools in the region. These children all suffered as a direct result of the tsunami, having lost one or both parents, and having come from underprivileged circumstances.

      Builders of the Future also established a children's library, the purpose being three-fold:
            To reinstate a sense of normalcy and harmony.
            To establish a facility to provide a love for learning and the experience of self-learning.
            A child-friendly library to provide beneficial recreation to occupy their minds, beyond their immediate and often difficult surroundings.

      An IT lab in the children's library provided two immediate advantages: A wide variety of computer and Internet-specific educational resources, and through this learning experience a greater opportunity for success in today's modern world.
